Our Services
Adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Addiction
Many individuals struggle to cope effectively and turn to a substance to cope. Through our outpatient program for addiction, we assist clients to learn effective coping skills they can use in place of their substance. We work on a wide range of topics through group therapy to help clients become whole people again. Group counseling incorporates both CBT and DBT. Clients will also meet with their counselor for individual sessions outside of scheduled group sessions. Current openings for daytime intensive outpatient treatment (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9am to noon).
Mental Health Therapy for Adults
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through individual therapy, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. Mental Health Therapy for Adolescents
Children, adolescents, and teenagers express reactions to stressful events in many different ways. Some of the ways your child may express stress or difficulty is through somatic experiencing like headaches or tummy aches. Sometimes they express stress by getting upset easily or crying, attention-seeking, becoming unmotivated, or behavioral changes. Whether you have received a diagnosis for your child or you are needing guidance on how best to work with them, we can help. We offer services to help improve negative thinking patterns and behaviors, communication and expression styles, and self-identity. Trauma Therapy for Adults
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. EMDR therapy does not require talking in detail about the distressing issue or completing homework between sessions. EMDR therapy, rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, allows the brain to resume its natural healing process. EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. For many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies. Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal mental health. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.
